Essential Lists

Essential Spelling Lists... are crucial to good spelling. It is important to...

• Practise 2-5 words, three times per week at home.
• Practise in order of the words. Don't skip any words, it's surprising what children can misspell when in the middle of writing.
• Essential Lists are tested once a term.
• Essential Lists are not taught in class - they need to be practised at home:)
